- For some people, packaging that is easy to open and use is a necessity. According to the UN, globally the number of older persons — those aged 60 years or over — is expected to more than double by 2050. The population aged 60 or above is growing at a rate of about 3 per cent per year. Currently, Europe has the greatest percentage of the population aged 60 or over (25 per cent).
- It is not only the ageing population that are choosing products with convenient packaging. People are looking for little things that make their lives and the day-to-day routines a little easier. Convenience is a subjective matter depending on the user. The most important thing in any product and packaging development is knowing your customers and meeting their needs.

Reclosable Amergrip and Zipper Bags
Our reclosable packaging bags, Amergrip, have become a classic. Their versatility and durability, and the fact that they can be printed or written on, has seen them being used everywhere: from the home to industry and a multitude of other applications.
The secret of the success of the Amergrip lies in its grip – which is perfect for repeated opening and closing and is completely leak proof – and in its highly durable polyethylene composition. Standard Amergrip bags come in a wide range of sizes and are uniquely made of sustainable Green PE. The green polyethylene is derived from renewable resources as the plastic is made of sugar cane.
If you require an even stronger reclosable closure and a greater range of printing options, we recommend our zipper packaging. As the closure is attached to the film after printing, we can print zipper products in up to ten colours.
Tape Bags
Our tape bags, sealed with adhesive or other tape, are ideal for postal use or packaging textile products, for example – and they offer a cost-effective and efficient way to accelerate manual packing processes. We can also include a hanging hook and a side pocket for documents. High-quality printing is available in up to eight colours.
